E. Karthikeyan is a seasoned automobile professional with more than 26 years of experience in the automotive industry. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and a Master of Engineering (M.E.), reflecting his strong academic foundation and passion for engineering excellence.
Throughout his distinguished career, he has worked with leading global automotive organizations, including Hyundai Motor India Limited, Renault-Nissan, and Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. His professional expertise spans across vehicle manufacturing, quality assurance, testing, validation, product development, and customer-focused engineering solutions.
With over 15 years of experience in Automotive Research & Development, he has played a significant role in developing innovative mobility solutions for the Indian automotive sector. He was part of the pioneering team involved in the development of India’s first electric passenger vehicle, the Mahindra e2o, and contributed to the development of next-generation electric vehicles including the Mahindra BE 6E, XEV 9E, and future EV platforms.
